Since Brexit, UK nationals relocating to Spain need to submit a customs declaration with a detailed household goods inventory. Your removal company will guide you through this — it's standard practice.
If you're permanently relocating, you may qualify for Transfer of Residence (ToR) relief, which exempts your household goods from VAT and import duty. Items must have been owned for at least 6 months.
Cars, motorcycles, and certain items (alcohol, tobacco, firearms) are subject to additional rules. Your removal company will advise on what can and can't be transported, and any additional costs.
